There is a growing concern within the international scientific community that the official explanations put forth by the US government vis-à-vis The 9/11 Commission Report and the NIST and FEMA reports concerning the collapse of World Trade Center Towers 1,2 and often ignored Building 7, contain not only scientifically unsubstantiated theories, but, in many cases, either defy or ignore the laws of physics, metallurgy and a host of other applied sciences in their calculations and conclusions. The cross-section of disciplines represented by each of the symposium participants provides applicable scholarly and professional viewpoints concerning the one theory the government and media refuses to entertain – controlled demolition. It is their hope, along with the sponsors of the symposium, that the world-renowned community of scientists, architects and engineers in the Boston area test for themselves the veracity of the claims made by government agencies, as well as those of their opponents, with the understanding that the laws governing the sciences must not be manipulated or ignored for political ends on either side of the controversy. This day-long conference on Saturday December 15 at Boston’s historic Faneuil Hall is entitled, “The Destruction of World Trade Center Towers 1, 2 and 7: A Case for Controlled Demolition.” In this scientific look at the collapses, a panel of four well-known and credentialed science and engineering professionals will present the case that the government’s theories could not possibly be true and that most of the evidence points to the one theory that’s been completely avoided by the government and the media – controlled demolition.

The Truth Movement got a huge boost in 2007 when California architect Richard Gage, AIA, exploded onto the scene with “Architects and Engineers for Truth” (AE911Truth). Opening the presentations on Saturday morning at one of America’s most famous meeting halls, Gage will be joined by long-time 9/11 researcher and former BYU physics professor Dr. Steven Jones, Underwriters Laboratories whistle blower Kevin Ryan, and new to the scene, Dr. Joel Hirschhorn, who in September 2007 came out with an unequivocal endorsement of the work of AE911Truth. Dr. Hirschhorn is formerly a professor of Metallurgy at the University of Wisconsin and was a senior staff member at the US Congressional Office of Technology Assessment from 1978 to 1991, testifying more than 50 times before congress on scientific issues. He is the author of several books, including, “Delusional Democracy: Fixing the Republic Without Overthrowing the Government.” We enthusiastically welcome Dr. Hirschhorn to the growing list of distinguished scientists and true patriots who are willing to step forward and speak out on the 9/11 cover-up. An Open Letter to the New Generation of Military Officers Serving and Protecting Our Nation

“The Nuremberg Principles says that we in the military have not only the right, but also the DUTY to refuse an illegal order. It was on this basis that we executed Nazi officers who were ‘only carrying out their orders’... The Constitution which we are sworn to uphold says that treaties entered into by the United States are the ‘highest law of the land,’ equivalent to the Constitution itself. Accordingly, we in the military are sworn to uphold treaty law, including the United Nations charter and the Geneva Convention... Based on the above, I contend that should some civilian order you to initiate a nuclear attack on Iran (for example), you are duty-bound to refuse that order. I might also suggest that you should consider whether the circumstances demand that you arrest whoever gave the order as a war criminal.”


Dear Comrades in Arms,

You are facing challenges in 2007 that we of previous generations never dreamed of. I'm just an old fighter pilot (101 combat missions in Vietnam , F-4 Phantom, Phu Cat, 1969-1970) who's now a disabled veteran with terminal cancer from Agent Orange. Our mailing list (over 22,000) includes veterans from all branches of the service, all political parties, and all parts of the political spectrum. We are Republicans and Democrats, Greens and Libertarians, Constitutionists and Reformers, and a good many Independents. What unites us is our desire for a government that (1) follows the Constitution, (2) honors the truth, and (3) serves the people.

We see our government going down the wrong path, all too often ignoring military advice, and heading us toward great danger. And we look to you who still serve as the best hope for protecting our nation from disaster.

We see the current Iraq War as having been unnecessary, entered into under false pretenses, and horribly mismanaged by the civilian authorities. Thousands of our brave troops have been needlessly sacrificed in a futile attempt at occupation of a hostile land. Many more thousands have suffered wounds which will change their lives forever. Tens of thousands have severe psychological problems because of what they have seen and what they have done. Potentially hundreds of thousands could be poisoned by depleted uranium, with symptoms appearing years later, just as happened to us exposed to Agent Orange. The military services are depleted and demoralized. The VA system is under-funded and overwhelmed. The National Guard and Reserves have been subjected to tour after tour, disrupting lives for even the lucky ones who return intact. Jobs have been lost, marriages have been destroyed, homes have been foreclosed, and children have been estranged. And for what? We have lost allies, made new enemies, and created thousands of new terrorists, further endangering the American people.

But you know all this. I'm sure you also see the enormous danger in a possible attack on Iran , possibly with nuclear weapons. Such an event, seriously contemplated by the Cheney faction of the Bush administration, would make enemies of Russia and China and turn us into the number one rogue nation on earth. The effect on our long-term national security would be devastating.

Some of us had hoped that the new Democratic Congress would end the occupation of Iraq and take firm steps to prevent an attack on Iran , perhaps by impeaching Bush and Cheney. These hopes have been dashed. The lily-livered Democrats have caved in, turning their backs on those few (like Congressman Jack Murtha) who understand the situation. Many of us have personally walked the halls of Congress, to no avail.

This is where you come in.

We know that many of you share our concern and our determination to protect our republic from an arrogant, out-of-control, imperial presidency and a compliant, namby-pamby Congress (both of which are unduly influenced by the oil companies and other big-money interests). We know that you (like us) wouldn't have pursued a military career unless you were idealistic and devoted to our nation and its people. (None of us do it for the pay and working conditions!) But we also recognize that you may not see how you can influence these events. We in the military have always had a historic subservience to civilian authority.

Perhaps I can help with whatever wisdom I've gathered from age (I retired in 1978, so I am ancient indeed).

Our oath of office is to “protect and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.” Might I suggest that this includes a rogue president and vice-president? Certainly we are bound to carry out the legal orders of our superiors. But the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) which binds all of us enshrines the Nuremberg Principles which this country established after World War II (which you are too young to remember). One of those Nuremberg Principles says that we in the military have not only the right, but also the DUTY to refuse an illegal order. It was on this basis that we executed Nazi officers who were “only carrying out their orders.”

Accordingly, we in the military are sworn to uphold treaty law, including the United Nations charter and the Geneva Convention.

I know for a fact that in recent history (once under Nixon and once under Reagan), the military nuclear chain of command in the White House discussed these things and were prepared to refuse an order to “nuke Russia .” In effect they took the (non-existent) “button” out of the hands of the President.. We were thus never quite as close to World War III as many feared, no matter how irrational any president might have become. They determined that the proper response to any such order was, “Why, sir?” Unless there was (in their words) a “damn good answer,” nothing was going to happen.

I suggest that if you in this generation have not had such a discussion, perhaps it is time you do. In hindsight, it's too bad such a discussion did not take place prior to the preemptive “shock and awe” attack on Baghdad . Many of us at the time spoke out vehemently that such an attack would be an impeachable offense, a war crime against the people of Iraq , and treason against the United States of America . But our voices were drowned out and never reached the ears of the generals in 2003. I now regret that I never sent a letter such as this at that time, but depended on the corporate media to carry my message. I must not make that mistake again.

Also in hindsight, President Bush could be court-martialed for abuse of power as Commander-in-Chief. Vice President Cheney could probably be court-martialed for his performance as Acting Commander-in-Chief in the White House bunker the morning of September 11, 2001 .

We in the U.S. military would never consider a military coup, removing an elected president and installing one of our own. But following our oath of office, obeying the Nuremberg Principles, and preventing a rogue president from committing a war crime is not a military coup. If it requires the detention of executive branch officials, we will not impose a military dictatorship. We will let the Constitutional succession take place. This is what we are sworn to. This is protecting the Constitution, our highest obligation. In 2007, this is what is meant by “Duty, Honor, Country.”

Thank you all for your service to this nation. May God bless America , and sustain us in this difficult time. And thanks for listening to the musings of an old junior officer.

An Open Letter to President Bush Following His Address to the Nation

President Bush,

As a New Yorker who lived through the horrors of September 11th firsthand; who lost a family member in the chaos that ensued; and who had colleagues, friends, and fellow students whose lives were forever changed by the actions of a small group of terrorists, I find your comments to the nation tonight, September 13, 2007, to be galling, tactless, and above all else, incredibly insulting.

Your repeated allusions to Al-Qaeda in Iraq and the completely misguided insinuation that our troops are somehow stationed there because of this new terror group is bewildering and enraging. The brave men and women who find themselves in the midst of ethno-sectarian violence and a full-blown civil war are not there because of any Al-Qaeda threat. Instead, they risk their lives daily because of your stubbornness and unwillingness to admit the validity of any position divergent from your own. Your continued poor judgment has wounded over 27,000 servicepeople and stripped over 3,700 families of mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers.

In the face of all who have lost loved ones so near and dear, both on 9/11 and in this misguided arm of your "war on terror," it is reprehensible to suggest that the motivation behind leaving 130,000 troops on duty in Iraq has anything to do with Al-Qaeda or terrorism. Prior to our invasion, Al-Qaeda in Iraq simply did not exist. The quagmire you have inspired has lead to the creation of this offshoot organization--distinct from the Al-Qaeda that has struck us in our country and elsewhere--and to what is quite arguably the most effective, free recruitment campaign that terrorists could have ever dreamed up.

If your decision is to lie unabatedly to the American public, please retain at least a shred of dignity by not invoking Al-Qaeda so incessantly in your rhetoric. We are not an ignorant people, we know when we are not being told the truth, and we are outraged that you continue to denigrate the memory of the innocent men and women who died in what was a legitimate terrorist act. Mr. President, we are not in Iraq because of Al-Qaeda, nor shall we remain there because of a nonexistent threat, and for you to suggest these falsehoods should be an impeachable offense.

Vacation Notice

Well, where do I begin? It has been years. Years since I realized that something was seriously wrong in the world around me and felt that it was imperative that I do what little I can to try and alleviate the problem. It was roughly at the beginning of 2004 that I realized that there was something very wrong with the official explanation for the events of 9/11, with the war on terror, and many other things taking place in the country and the world.

And I started doing what I thought was right at the time. Even though I lost a job in April 2004 I spent my savings on research, writing, campaigning for John Kerry - yes, I was naive enough to believe he was an alternative, I admit it. In 2005 I went down to the Gulf Region after Katrina to help - even though I still had no steady income myself. Well, I can't say I did much - but I did something.

I am happy to see many people awaken to the same truths I awoke to in 2004. I still don't see them putting their money where their mouth is, as they say, to a sufficient degree. And until they start acting on their knowledge the knowledge itself is not going to bring about change. And I am simply tired.

So for now count me out. The truth is out there, and if I helped it become known - that's something. And if not - at least I tried. For some time, I am out of the game. I just want to live my life which is something I haven't been able to do for years. At least not to the extent I would have liked to.

Is there something you are not telling us, Mr Santorum?

Is Santorum expressing foreknowledge of some coming atrocity or is he merely using a tactic familiar to the leadership of his party - exploiting the fear of terror for the purposes of political rhetoric?

I don't know about you but I for one am quite curious as to where Mr Santorum draws his prophetic powers from. While expectation of terrorism as a general possibility is fairly mundane it must be noted that Mr Santorum predicts terrorist events with a rather high degree of specificity, at least as far as their timeframe.

A good cop should get suspicious here. Are our counter-terrorism officials good cops? Well, if they are they ought to call Mr Santorum in for a little chat and ask him a few questions. Espeically so if those events he is talking about start becoming reality.

To preempt any misunderstanding, I would like to restate here - once again - that material I present is not necessarily material I agree with in its entirety. The reason I am restating it here is that the film touches on some very emotive issues and I can foresee a lot of people jumping to conclusions here whereas the truth of the matter is that I have as of yet not even fully formed an opinion about it - other than to say that ideas presented there are certainly worth a look and a thought. Hours after 9/11 attacks, Rumsfeld allegedly said, 'My interest is to hit Saddam'

According to NBC's chief Pentagon correspondent, former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld said that his "interest is to hit Saddam Hussein" just hours after the attacks on September 11, 2001, "even though all indications pointed at al-Qaida as the guilty party," a Rhode Island newspaper reports.

At the annual Business Expo at the Rhode Island Convention Center Tuesday, NBC's Jim Miklaszewski "advanced a theme garnering attention since former CIA director George J. Tenet made his public revelations last week," writes Tom Mooney for the Providence Journal.

"Some things are right on the mark, when he says the Bush administration appeared predisposed to attack Iraq," Miklaszewski says of Tenet's book At the Center of the Storm.

The NBC correspondent's "information" comes from "off the record" notes given to him from an unidentified person who was "in the White House situation room in the hours after the attacks."

"However, the notes describe, Miklaszewski said, then-Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld vowing to avenge the terrorist attacks by voicing frustration that attacks against the U.S. Embassy in Beirut in 1983 and the attack on the Cole, in 2000, had gone unavenged," Mooney writes. "Reading from his notes, Miklaszewski quoted Rumsfeld as saying five hours after the terrorist attacks: 'My interest is to hit Saddam Hussein at the same time we go after al-Qaida.'"

“Activism is Terrorism”

Reprinted from WEARECHANGE.ORG. The reason I decided to reprint this report is due to the fact that WEARECHANGE.ORG does not provide a dedicated link to each of its reports.

This report does an excellent job of illustrating how US authorities try to censor and suppress those who challenge the official theory of 9/11 and seek to educate their fellow citizens about the truth regarding those events. While some of the footage provided below was shot in locations as prominent as the WTC site in Lower Manhattan or even in front of the New York Times Building itself you most likely will not read about this in any mainstream publication in the US. The reason for that is a policy of self-censorship to which most of the media sources adhere. However, whether they cover it or not, the 9/11 Truth Movement is here to stay - and, hopefully, win.

Also note the authorities' attempt to once again link dissent with terrorism. The tactic, while having little if any basis in fact, appears to be clearly designed to alienate the citizenry from the opposition groups as well as pave the way for a potential campaign of repression against said opposition - a campaign that would most likely be run ostensibly under the auspices of the "war on terror".

The activists of NY911TRUTH and Change were taking part in street actions for the Eleventh of every month. They started at the new WTC Building 7, in which Larry Silverstein was present in his office. Luke Rudkowski and Tom Foti held the banner up that stated that 911 was an inside job. They were peacefully demonstrating giving out flyers and DVDs to whoever was willing to listen. Soon after undercover police officers and Port Authority officers arrived. They told the activists that the space and Greenwich Street is privately owned by Larry Silverstein. Therefore, the officers ordered the activists to cease and desist and to leave the premise or be arrested. The activists refused since they were not breaking any laws and were constitutionally upholding their civilian duties.

The officers then intimidated the activists by going face to face with them and tried to restrict them from filming the incident. The officers expressed amusement as they stated that the activists were going to jail. The officers quickly labeled us as terrorists and claimed that we had backpack explosives. The officers said, “You could be a terrorist, how should I know you don't have a bomb in your book bag?” They continued saying that Luke Rudkowski’s string on his Northface book bag contained explosive material. Soon after many more police officers arrived and surrounded the activists from a distance.

Another group of police officers detained the activists for an hour, until they were approached directly by the Port Authority officer in charge, who escorted them from the premises. As Luke was filming the incident, about 10 officers surrounded him as well as Tom and actually confiscated Luke’s camera when it was filming and alleged that it was a gun. It should be noted that the officers never identified themselves and many did not show their badges to the activists. When a citizen stated that they have every right to record police altercations, the officer replied, “Yes, but you could have a gun in your camera.” The officers did not return Luke’s camera until the activists were set free.

When Luke tried to use his cell phone to contact Alex Jones on his radio show to make a public statement about what was happening, the police officer snatched Luke’s phone and labeled it a gun as well. As the activists were stating their rights, the police officers mimicked them by bullying and questioning whether they went to law school. Although the activists did not leave the area they moved away from the NYPD and continued holding the banner that stated 911 was an inside job. This altercation shows how far the NYPD can go to hinder free speech.

We stand in defiance and in the memory of one of our fallen members of NY911TRUTH and CHANGE, Dan Wallace. The activists of NY911TRUTH and CHANGE will not stop until the truth about 911 comes out. They will continue to demonstrate on the 11th of every month at locations like the Path Station at Ground Zero, Pace University, the Brooklyn Bridge and Times Square in the hopes of spreading the message that 911 was an inside job.

NORTHEAST USA – “Improbable Collapse: The Demolition of Our Republic” goes on tour for two weeks in April with the support of 9/11 truth groups across the region. That truly is a tough job

Defending the indefensible, that is. That must be one of the reasons why few people seem to be willing to argue in defense of the official theory of 9/11.

It's not like they don't get an opportunity. The 9/11 skeptics, or 9/11 truthers, or 9/11 conspiracy theorists - pick your term - have challenged them to a debate time, and time, and time again. Here's independent journalist Ed Haas' experience (Change in Venue or Date will not Alter Decision, July 3, 2006):

The fact is that scientists outside the government’s control have been conducting peer evaluation of the NIST scientists and their “pancake theory” for years now, and the government theory has failed to pass the test. Its failure to pass the test means that the government has yet to provide a sustainable explanation of how the twin towers collapsed.

This is not unusual in the scientific community; the process of working hypothesis, research, presenting a theory, subjecting the theory to peer evaluation, and then if failing peer evaluation, returning to the research and even the hypothesis. What is different in this instance though is the stakes; and they couldn’t be higher because so much of what the U.S. government has done since 9/11 is contingent on the majority of the public believing that those twin towers collapsed as the result of the airplane impacts. With an estimated 42% of the American public now skeptical of the 9/11 Commission Report as well as the NIST “pancake theory”; the government knows it is losing the information war on 9/11, and has recently began to mount its predictable counter-offensive.

When faced with the challenge of a National 9/11 Debate, the Muckraker Report turned to the well-respected work of Professor Jones and Professor Fetzer at Scholars for 9/11 Truth. The Muckraker Report contacted Professor Fetzer and asked if he could assemble a highly qualified seven-member civilian debate team that would be willing to debate a seven-member government debate team regarding the government’s account of 9/11 events. Professor Fetzer had a team assembled in two weeks. With the civilian debate team in place, the Muckraker Report identified twenty-nine potential government debate team members to include the ten members of the 9/11 Commission and the thirteen NIST scientists responsible for the government’s “pancake theory” of collapse. Each of these potential government debate team members was mailed numerous invitations. Five of the 9/11 Commissioners had staffers contact the Muckraker Report via telephone to decline invitation due to “prior commitments”. However, the thirteen NIST scientists remained silent.

After three separate mailings of hard copy invitations to the NIST scientists, on June 8, 2006 the Muckraker Report received e-mail from NIST that said, “The project leaders of the NIST World Trade Center investigation team respectfully decline your invitations to participate in the National 9/11 Debate on September 16, 2006.” Not to be deterred, on June 20, 2006 the Muckraker Report e-mailed Michael E. Newman, NIST Director of Media Relations, and asked if there was a better date, time, and location for NIST to participate in the National 9/11 Debate.

On June 25, 2006, NIST Director of Media Relations, Michael E. Newman responded:

The members of the NIST WTC Investigation Team has [sic] respectfully declined your invitation to participate in the National 9/11 Debate. A change in venue or date will not alter that decision.

A change of venue or date will not alter that decision. Fascinating! What Newman is telling the world is that the public servants at NIST, the people paid by the U.S. taxpayers, will never, ever publicly debate their peers regarding the “pancake theory” of collapse of WTC-1, WTC-2, and WTC-7. Taxpayers should be outraged! The public needs to demand accountability. Apparently, the Gang of 13 at NIST does not believe they are accountability to the people. That needs to change, pronto! Newman has repeatedly told the Muckraker Report that NIST “stands solidly behind the collapse mechanisms for each tower and the sequences of events (from aircraft impact to collapse) as described in the report.” The truth is that NIST is hiding behind its unsustainable theory and dares not publicly debate the merits of its report.

Recently, Ann Arbor 911 Truth had a similar experience (9-11 Truth Event in Ann Arbor, April 10, 2007):

On April 7 annarbor911truth.com hosted Kevin Ryan, Kevin Barret and William Rodriguez for an unforgettable afternoon of truth in the League ballroom. We filled over three hundred chairs for this event called "TRUTH STRIKES BACK".

Originally, the group had planned to sponsor a debate. We invited the members of YAF, a popular rightwing organization on campus to to debate us on the following issue: "Have the government and media lied to the public about the events of Sept 11."
Though we issued several polite invitations these were declined.

Next we tried the physics department at the University of Michigan as well as three departments in the school of engineering, Civil, Materials Science and Mechanical. We sent each faculty member a personal invitation as well as a copy of "Improbable Collapse" All of the invitations were declined or not answered; that's over three hundred invitations total for the University faculty. No one would defend the official story as related in the NIST, FEMA and 9-11 Commission Report.

Since we had advertised a "debate", out of desperation Kevin Ryan and Kevin Barret did a mock debate and took turns representing the official story as outlined in NIST and the 9-11 Commission report. Then they took turns showing how these reports failed the public.

Like this author mentioned earlier, "the roar of that silence is deafening." And by all appearances people are slowly waking up to that roar.

This is a presentation worth watching to get a glimpse into how the modern media can by way of selective censorship cover a topic in a way that ridicules one of the sides in the debate from the start and denies the audience an opportunity to acquire knowledge of the subject or form an informed opinion of said subject. It is, of course, shocking when the subject at hand is something as crucially important as the tragic events of 9/11 - which, aside from their own enormity, have since been presented as basis for a revolutionary transformation of the American policy.

It also shows how myths are created by way of presenting certain opinions as apriori unassailable and subject only to unquestioning acceptance. The "9/11 heretics" are given some air time, of course. I must say that only started after the 9/11 Truth movement has grown too large to be ignored by the mainstream media but let us not dwell on that point. However, when those "heretics" are given the light of day it is generally only after a somewhat derisive introduction, only very briefly and only in such a way as to deny them an opportunity to present their views in any fashion that even smells of seriousness. That is a subtle, though effective, way to reinforce the official 9/11 myth.

Worked as a programmer involved in development and support of the ETMS air traffic management software for the FAA at the Volpe National Transportation Systems Center in Cambridge, MA. Specific area of concentration was the CDM component of the ETMS. The tasks included design and development of new functionality, as well as supporting legacy code. A large codebase together with the need for system reliability provide for a challenging task. The code was originally written in Pascal and later migrated to C.
The system was in essence a large transportation management system receiving and reflecting frequent (mostly once-a-minute) updates regarding the status of flights operating over the US airspace. Near realtime requirements were in place for processing and analyzing data which made for an exciting and challenging task.

Boston, MA

Performed multiple roles on a daily basis, including those of a senior system designer and developer, Windows NT and UNIX system administrator and web hosting support engineer. Key player in the technology planning and implementation area. As a sole expertise in a number of areas, including object-oriented design and development, networking, network security and systems management, advised other team members on various technology issues.
Main tasks included web site backend implementation for clients, in-house product design and implementation as well as day-to-day activities mentioned above. Most of the coding was done using object-oriented technology, with JAVA as a programming language of choice.
Provided critical insight which allowed to greatly improve stability and efficiency of the internal systems.
Clients included Davox Corporation (now part of Aspect Software), Pilates Store, Lobsters-Online, Inc. and others.

September 1999 - January 2000

Worked as a UNIX administrator in a large-scale web and dataserver hosting facility. Was responsible for maintenance and troubleshooting of multiple industrial-scale UNIX servers in SUN, HP and IBM platforms. Performed database maintenance of SYBASE and ORACLE databases as well as data recovery and general server troubleshooting.

As part of the Y2K team worked on the remediation of custom SUN Solaris machines hosting clients' mission-critical WWW sites and applications. Complex upgrades and modifications had to be accomplished requiring an absolute minimum in customers' downtime. Tasks included upgrades of the OS, DB servers and various other third-party software. Custom scripting and coding was often required to facilitate the necessary transition.

November 1995 - May 1999

WorldCare, Inc.
Cambridge, MA

Originally hired as an outside contractor. Accepted a permanent staff position in a three months' time. Throughout my whole tenure was a critical part of a small and continually overtasked team.
Responsibilities included day-to-day maintenance and support of a network of UNIX hosts. Maintained code control systems. Designed and implemented a data backup/archival system for in-house use. Created web pages using HTML, PERL and JAVA. With the emphasis on publicly available software restructured the environment to optimize and economize the development and production process. Modified publicly available software for local needs using C, Tcl/Tk, PERL, JAVA, etc. Was also involved in equipment and software installation and support at client sites. Worked with medical applications and protocols including DICOM, ISG's VRS graphical application and AWARE wavelet compression. Wrote system installation and maintenance scripts. Modified and integrated various third party software packages. Worked with multimedia devices in medical data capture/processing systems. Set up and supported LANs and WANs.

July 1992 - November 1995

Kenan Systems Corporation (currently part of Alcatel-Lucent)
Denver, CO - Cambridge, MA

Participated in database design of SYBASE databases.As part of a product team supported development effort in a heterogeneous UNIX environment. Oversaw the operation of a distributed development environment which included multiple geographically disjoint locations. Wrote a suite of PERL scripts that encompassed the local customizations to ClearCase as required by the project. Other responsibilities included release/code management using ClearCase code control system, SYBASE database administration, system design activities.

Summers of 1990 and 1991

Unisys Corporation
Cambridge, MA

Participated in the development of ATMS (Automated Traffic Management System), an air traffic management and control system for the FAA. Coding was done in Pascal against a proprietary database. The network consisted of a multitude of Aegis hosts on the Apollo platform. The development was done under DSEE as an integrated code control and management environment.
