Is Santorum expressing foreknowledge of some coming atrocity or is he merely using a tactic familiar to the leadership of his party - exploiting the fear of terror for the purposes of political rhetoric?

I don't know about you but I for one am quite curious as to where Mr Santorum draws his prophetic powers from. While expectation of terrorism as a general possibility is fairly mundane it must be noted that Mr Santorum predicts terrorist events with a rather high degree of specificity, at least as far as their timeframe.

A good cop should get suspicious here. Are our counter-terrorism officials good cops? Well, if they are they ought to call Mr Santorum in for a little chat and ask him a few questions. Espeically so if those events he is talking about start becoming reality.

To preempt any misunderstanding, I would like to restate here - once again - that material I present is not necessarily material I agree with in its entirety. The reason I am restating it here is that the film touches on some very emotive issues and I can foresee a lot of people jumping to conclusions here whereas the truth of the matter is that I have as of yet not even fully formed an opinion about it - other than to say that ideas presented there are certainly worth a look and a thought. Hours after 9/11 attacks, Rumsfeld allegedly said, 'My interest is to hit Saddam'

According to NBC's chief Pentagon correspondent, former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld said that his "interest is to hit Saddam Hussein" just hours after the attacks on September 11, 2001, "even though all indications pointed at al-Qaida as the guilty party," a Rhode Island newspaper reports.

At the annual Business Expo at the Rhode Island Convention Center Tuesday, NBC's Jim Miklaszewski "advanced a theme garnering attention since former CIA director George J. Tenet made his public revelations last week," writes Tom Mooney for the Providence Journal.

"Some things are right on the mark, when he says the Bush administration appeared predisposed to attack Iraq," Miklaszewski says of Tenet's book At the Center of the Storm.

The NBC correspondent's "information" comes from "off the record" notes given to him from an unidentified person who was "in the White House situation room in the hours after the attacks."

"However, the notes describe, Miklaszewski said, then-Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld vowing to avenge the terrorist attacks by voicing frustration that attacks against the U.S. Embassy in Beirut in 1983 and the attack on the Cole, in 2000, had gone unavenged," Mooney writes. "Reading from his notes, Miklaszewski quoted Rumsfeld as saying five hours after the terrorist attacks: 'My interest is to hit Saddam Hussein at the same time we go after al-Qaida.'"

“Activism is Terrorism”

Reprinted from WEARECHANGE.ORG. The reason I decided to reprint this report is due to the fact that WEARECHANGE.ORG does not provide a dedicated link to each of its reports.

This report does an excellent job of illustrating how US authorities try to censor and suppress those who challenge the official theory of 9/11 and seek to educate their fellow citizens about the truth regarding those events. While some of the footage provided below was shot in locations as prominent as the WTC site in Lower Manhattan or even in front of the New York Times Building itself you most likely will not read about this in any mainstream publication in the US. The reason for that is a policy of self-censorship to which most of the media sources adhere. However, whether they cover it or not, the 9/11 Truth Movement is here to stay - and, hopefully, win.

Also note the authorities' attempt to once again link dissent with terrorism. The tactic, while having little if any basis in fact, appears to be clearly designed to alienate the citizenry from the opposition groups as well as pave the way for a potential campaign of repression against said opposition - a campaign that would most likely be run ostensibly under the auspices of the "war on terror".

The activists of NY911TRUTH and Change were taking part in street actions for the Eleventh of every month. They started at the new WTC Building 7, in which Larry Silverstein was present in his office. Luke Rudkowski and Tom Foti held the banner up that stated that 911 was an inside job. They were peacefully demonstrating giving out flyers and DVDs to whoever was willing to listen. Soon after undercover police officers and Port Authority officers arrived. They told the activists that the space and Greenwich Street is privately owned by Larry Silverstein. Therefore, the officers ordered the activists to cease and desist and to leave the premise or be arrested. The activists refused since they were not breaking any laws and were constitutionally upholding their civilian duties.

The officers then intimidated the activists by going face to face with them and tried to restrict them from filming the incident. The officers expressed amusement as they stated that the activists were going to jail. The officers quickly labeled us as terrorists and claimed that we had backpack explosives. The officers said, “You could be a terrorist, how should I know you don't have a bomb in your book bag?” They continued saying that Luke Rudkowski’s string on his Northface book bag contained explosive material. Soon after many more police officers arrived and surrounded the activists from a distance.

Another group of police officers detained the activists for an hour, until they were approached directly by the Port Authority officer in charge, who escorted them from the premises. As Luke was filming the incident, about 10 officers surrounded him as well as Tom and actually confiscated Luke’s camera when it was filming and alleged that it was a gun. It should be noted that the officers never identified themselves and many did not show their badges to the activists. When a citizen stated that they have every right to record police altercations, the officer replied, “Yes, but you could have a gun in your camera.” The officers did not return Luke’s camera until the activists were set free.

When Luke tried to use his cell phone to contact Alex Jones on his radio show to make a public statement about what was happening, the police officer snatched Luke’s phone and labeled it a gun as well. As the activists were stating their rights, the police officers mimicked them by bullying and questioning whether they went to law school. Although the activists did not leave the area they moved away from the NYPD and continued holding the banner that stated 911 was an inside job. This altercation shows how far the NYPD can go to hinder free speech.

We stand in defiance and in the memory of one of our fallen members of NY911TRUTH and CHANGE, Dan Wallace. The activists of NY911TRUTH and CHANGE will not stop until the truth about 911 comes out. They will continue to demonstrate on the 11th of every month at locations like the Path Station at Ground Zero, Pace University, the Brooklyn Bridge and Times Square in the hopes of spreading the message that 911 was an inside job.

That truly is a tough job

Defending the indefensible, that is. That must be one of the reasons why few people seem to be willing to argue in defense of the official theory of 9/11.

It's not like they don't get an opportunity. The 9/11 skeptics, or 9/11 truthers, or 9/11 conspiracy theorists - pick your term - have challenged them to a debate time, and time, and time again. Here's independent journalist Ed Haas' experience (Change in Venue or Date will not Alter Decision, July 3, 2006):

The fact is that scientists outside the government’s control have been conducting peer evaluation of the NIST scientists and their “pancake theory” for years now, and the government theory has failed to pass the test. Its failure to pass the test means that the government has yet to provide a sustainable explanation of how the twin towers collapsed.

This is not unusual in the scientific community; the process of working hypothesis, research, presenting a theory, subjecting the theory to peer evaluation, and then if failing peer evaluation, returning to the research and even the hypothesis. What is different in this instance though is the stakes; and they couldn’t be higher because so much of what the U.S. government has done since 9/11 is contingent on the majority of the public believing that those twin towers collapsed as the result of the airplane impacts. With an estimated 42% of the American public now skeptical of the 9/11 Commission Report as well as the NIST “pancake theory”; the government knows it is losing the information war on 9/11, and has recently began to mount its predictable counter-offensive.

When faced with the challenge of a National 9/11 Debate, the Muckraker Report turned to the well-respected work of Professor Jones and Professor Fetzer at Scholars for 9/11 Truth. The Muckraker Report contacted Professor Fetzer and asked if he could assemble a highly qualified seven-member civilian debate team that would be willing to debate a seven-member government debate team regarding the government’s account of 9/11 events. Professor Fetzer had a team assembled in two weeks. With the civilian debate team in place, the Muckraker Report identified twenty-nine potential government debate team members to include the ten members of the 9/11 Commission and the thirteen NIST scientists responsible for the government’s “pancake theory” of collapse. Each of these potential government debate team members was mailed numerous invitations. Five of the 9/11 Commissioners had staffers contact the Muckraker Report via telephone to decline invitation due to “prior commitments”. However, the thirteen NIST scientists remained silent.

After three separate mailings of hard copy invitations to the NIST scientists, on June 8, 2006 the Muckraker Report received e-mail from NIST that said, “The project leaders of the NIST World Trade Center investigation team respectfully decline your invitations to participate in the National 9/11 Debate on September 16, 2006.” Not to be deterred, on June 20, 2006 the Muckraker Report e-mailed Michael E. Newman, NIST Director of Media Relations, and asked if there was a better date, time, and location for NIST to participate in the National 9/11 Debate.

On June 25, 2006, NIST Director of Media Relations, Michael E. Newman responded:

The members of the NIST WTC Investigation Team has [sic] respectfully declined your invitation to participate in the National 9/11 Debate. A change in venue or date will not alter that decision.

A change of venue or date will not alter that decision. Fascinating! What Newman is telling the world is that the public servants at NIST, the people paid by the U.S. taxpayers, will never, ever publicly debate their peers regarding the “pancake theory” of collapse of WTC-1, WTC-2, and WTC-7. Taxpayers should be outraged! The public needs to demand accountability. Apparently, the Gang of 13 at NIST does not believe they are accountability to the people. That needs to change, pronto! Newman has repeatedly told the Muckraker Report that NIST “stands solidly behind the collapse mechanisms for each tower and the sequences of events (from aircraft impact to collapse) as described in the report.” The truth is that NIST is hiding behind its unsustainable theory and dares not publicly debate the merits of its report.

Recently, Ann Arbor 911 Truth had a similar experience (9-11 Truth Event in Ann Arbor, April 10, 2007):

On April 7 annarbor911truth.com hosted Kevin Ryan, Kevin Barret and William Rodriguez for an unforgettable afternoon of truth in the League ballroom. We filled over three hundred chairs for this event called "TRUTH STRIKES BACK".

Originally, the group had planned to sponsor a debate. We invited the members of YAF, a popular rightwing organization on campus to to debate us on the following issue: "Have the government and media lied to the public about the events of Sept 11."
Though we issued several polite invitations these were declined.

Next we tried the physics department at the University of Michigan as well as three departments in the school of engineering, Civil, Materials Science and Mechanical. We sent each faculty member a personal invitation as well as a copy of "Improbable Collapse" All of the invitations were declined or not answered; that's over three hundred invitations total for the University faculty. No one would defend the official story as related in the NIST, FEMA and 9-11 Commission Report.

Since we had advertised a "debate", out of desperation Kevin Ryan and Kevin Barret did a mock debate and took turns representing the official story as outlined in NIST and the 9-11 Commission report. Then they took turns showing how these reports failed the public.

Like this author mentioned earlier, "the roar of that silence is deafening." And by all appearances people are slowly waking up to that roar.

Originally hired as an outside contractor. Accepted a permanent staff position in a three months' time. Throughout my whole tenure was a critical part of a small and continually overtasked team.
Responsibilities included day-to-day maintenance and support of a network of UNIX hosts. Maintained code control systems. Designed and implemented a data backup/archival system for in-house use. Created web pages using HTML, PERL and JAVA. With the emphasis on publicly available software restructured the environment to optimize and economize the development and production process. Modified publicly available software for local needs using C, Tcl/Tk, PERL, JAVA, etc. Was also involved in equipment and software installation and support at client sites. Worked with medical applications and protocols including DICOM, ISG's VRS graphical application and AWARE wavelet compression. Wrote system installation and maintenance scripts. Modified and integrated various third party software packages. Worked with multimedia devices in medical data capture/processing systems. Set up and supported LANs and WANs.

July 1992 - November 1995

Kenan Systems Corporation (currently part of Alcatel-Lucent)
Denver, CO - Cambridge, MA

Participated in database design of SYBASE databases.As part of a product team supported development effort in a heterogeneous UNIX environment. Oversaw the operation of a distributed development environment which included multiple geographically disjoint locations. Wrote a suite of PERL scripts that encompassed the local customizations to ClearCase as required by the project. Other responsibilities included release/code management using ClearCase code control system, SYBASE database administration, system design activities.

Summers of 1990 and 1991

Unisys Corporation
Cambridge, MA

Participated in the development of ATMS (Automated Traffic Management System), an air traffic management and control system for the FAA. Coding was done in Pascal against a proprietary database. The network consisted of a multitude of Aegis hosts on the Apollo platform. The development was done under DSEE as an integrated code control and management environment.

Born in St. Petersburg, Russia in 1969. Have lived in the US since 18 years of age. Attended Tver University (website in Russian) in Tver, Russia; Boston University and University of Massachusetts at Amherst graduating in 1992 with a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics/Computer Science in 1992.
